FAFSA
Just a reminder of the March 1, 2019 priority date for the completion of the 19-20 FAFSA for seniors who qualify for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship.  The 19-20 FAFSA can be completed after March 1, but it is recommended for full consideration that the students submit them before March 1st each year.  If you need assistance, please call the NMU Financial Aid Office at 227-2327

NMU Environmental Science Camp

July 14th-20th, 2019 NMU is inviting high school students to explore the scenic vistas and natural resources of Michigan's Upper Peninsula!  Students will experience first hand how scientists incorporate technology and field experiences to study the changing environment and sustainability issues.  Registration includes lodging, meals and all field experiences.  Register online by June 1 at www.nmu.edu/environmental-science-camp

ATTENTION CLASS of 2019

*Colleges require your final transcript to complete your enrollment. It is your responsibility to order your transcript through parchment.com. We DO NOT automatically send.

 *Order your transcript now! After requesting your transcript, it will be put on hold until final grades are complete. Transcripts will be available after June 20th.

 *Prior to June 20th, in parchment, you will need to update your email to your personal email account, as your school email will be deleted.

 * Transfer your Google Docs! Visit the help link on the Guidance Office website:

 *After July 31st, parchment will charge $3.25 per transcript order.

*A reminder to seniors:
 After applying to college and universities, you must request your transcript through parchment.com.  
DO NOT send a transcript to yourself. 
This service is only for sending to colleges. 
Any other reason for a transcript (scholarships, job applications etc...) should be done in person through the Guidance Office. 

There will be a series of steps to activate your account:
1. Log in as a learner with your school email and password.
2. Click the + sign to add Negaunee High School to your account.
3. Answer a series of questions regarding your birthday, gender and dates attending Negaunee High School. 
4. Read the FERPA agreement and click "waive" or "do not waive" my rights to view the submitted documents. 
5. Click the box to "authorize storage" of your transcript on Parchment.
6. Click the blue "consent and request" button. 

Once you have finished setting up your account, from here on, you will be able to order your transcripts to be sent to colleges.
