Financial Aid Work Session
For extra assistance needed on FAFSA, students and parents should attend the financial aid work session. Click FAFSA Information for information you will need to bring if you would like to complete your FAFSA at the Work session.
Work sessions available in our area are:  
Negaunee High School, Room 206 on Monday, October 14th at 6:30

Ishpeming High School, December 4th at 6:30 in the library
Westwood High School, February 10th at 6:30 in the Media Center

If you need more assistance and cannot attend a FAFSA Worksession, please call NMU at 227-2327 to schedule an individual appointment.

Sallie Mae Paying for College Resource is a new, go-to destination to help students and families make a plan to pay for college. The resource is free, easy-to-use, and includes great information on all the important paying for college topics.

Loan Information

For Private Loans, we encourage you to do a lot of research and visit area credit unions and banks. There is also info online at   eStudent Loan for information on Private Loan searches.
